  Darin Schanker

  Darin L. Schanker is a founding partner of Bachus & Schanker, LLC. In addition to his work in the courtroom, he is actively involved in campaigning for consumer rights. He is experienced in both trial practice and appellate work and has litigated cases across the country.

  Mr. Schanker only represents victims and their families and is a dedicated lawyer whose personal philosophy incorporates a strong commitment to serving his clients and the community. He supports numerous non-profit organizations that are committed to the less privileged and disabled.

  Mr. Schanker has testified at numerous hearing in support of legislation to protect consumers' rights.

  Mr. Schanker has also been recognized as an AV-rated attorney - the highest rating assigned to individual attorneys by the Martindale Hubbell publication. According to Martindale Hubbell, an AV Peer Review Rating is a certification marking a significant accomplishment and serves as a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence. Additionally, a lawyer must be admitted to the bar for 10 years or more to receive an AV-rating.

  Mr. Schanker is licensed to practice law in both the Federal and State courts in the State of Colorado.

  Kyle Bachus

  J. Kyle Bachus is a founding partner of Bachus & Schanker, LLC. Mr. Bachus limits his practice to the representation of victims and their families. His personal philosophy incorporates a strong commitment to understanding the circumstances confronting his clients and a vigorous will to see that responsible parties are held accountable for the damages they have caused in an effort to achieve justice for his clients.

  In 2007, Mr. Bachus was named by the national legal publication Lawdragon, as one of "The Top 500 Leading Personal Injury Lawyers in America."

  Meredith Mayberry

  Meredith Mayberry is a New Orleans attorney and associate at Bachus & Schanker. She graduated from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. A former assistant district attorney for Orleans Parish, Meredith is an experienced trial lawyer who zealously represents victims and their families in both state and federal courts. She is licensed in Louisiana and Mississippi.

  Colleen Calandra

  Colleen Calandra heads the Bachus & Schanker, LLC Labor and Employment Law practice group. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Thomas M.Cooley Law School in 2001 and received an LLM in Employment Law. She is licensed to practice law in the states of Colorado and Michigan.

  James Olsen

  James Olsen is the head of the workers compensation department at Bachus & Schanker, LLC. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from The University of Denver Sturm College of law and is licensed to practice law in the Federal and State courts in the States of New York and Colorado.

  J. Christopher Elliott

  Chris Elliott is an associate attorney at Bachus & Schanker. He is a passionate auto accident litigator and personal injury attorney. A Florida native, Mr. Elliott attended the Oklahoma City University School of Law and discovered his passion for helping the needy by volunteering his time at the Public Defender's Office in Oklahoma City. He is licensed to practice law in Florida, Colorado, and the District of Columbia.

  Maaren Johnson

  Maaren Johnson is an associate attorney at Bachus & Schanker. A Colorado native and graduate of the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, she focuses her practice on personal injury and auto accident litigation and believes it is her responsibility to advocate on behalf of victims who have been injured through no fault of their own. She is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Colorado.

  David Krivit

  David Krivit is an associate attorney at Bachus & Schanker, LLC. Mr. Krivit brings a breadth of experience to the Bachus & Schanker team. He has handled a variety of litigation including commercial disputes, construction defects, contracts, insurance defense, and consumer fraud. He has conducted trials in several State and Federal courts, as well as mediations, arbitrations and administrative hearings. This range of experience gives him insight into the specific needs of each of his clients, and the challenges of personal injury claims. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Colorado and Texas.
